Jonny Coddington is a Full Stack Software Developer at Japeto Labs, where he builds AI-powered solutions for public sector organisations and charities. His work focuses on designing chatbot assistants and web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

Since joining Japeto in 2023, Jonny has delivered AI assistants serving three NHS trusts, the Citizens Advice Bureau, and Harlow College. Beyond client work, he established the company’s SonarQube security pipeline and created reusable authentication templates now adopted organisation-wide. He is an active open source contributor, with accepted contributions to Langchain4J and Spring Security.

Jonny holds an MA in Record Production and a BA in Music Technology from the University of West London, alongside AWS Cloud Practitioner and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certifications. Before transitioning to software development, he ran a successful audio production business for eleven years, delivering projects for clients including Penguin, Audible, and DK Publishing.
