I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you. As you may know, Fintek is celebrating nine successful years, and as we enter our tenth year, we’re undergoing a significant transformation.
Starting at the end of July 2023, we’ll be operating under a new trading name: Japeto.
Why the change?
Fintek was created in 2014 from the vision of Jamie Tidman, our founder, with the aim to support burgeoning fintech startups. We’ve proudly built robust currency exchange platforms for esteemed clients like SuperMoney, CurrencyWire, SuperCapital, and RacingFX, and helped facilitate millions of GBP transactions across 28 currencies.
But over our nine years, we’ve grown relationships with great organisations beyond financial technology. We’re shifting our focus to new sectors, namely healthcare, community services, local government, and businesses, and we want our identity to reflect that.
Our commitment to providing you with top-notch technical services remains the same.

Inspired by Geppetto, the skilled craftsman from Pinocchio who breathed life into wood, we aim to do the same in the digital world. Leveraging AI and natural language processing, we’re dedicated to building powerful tools to foster deeper, real, connections between our clients and their audiences.
