What do you actually do?
My role has been quite varied. There are different aspects to my role, administrative and content coordination. I manage emails, maintain records, and reformat data. I also update chatbot scripts, social media and the website.
What’s your journey getting here been like?
At the height of the pandemic I was studying and fell ill and had to change my plans. I’ve been volunteering with some non profits for the last couple years outside of work. So I don’t have a background in technology and everything is pretty new for me but I’m learning and the Japeto team have a wealth of knowledge to share.
When not at work, you can be found…
I am a student so when not working I’m studying for university. When I find the time I like walking the dog, playing music or climbing. I love live music so you might find me at a folk or jazz gig.
What mythical creature would you believe was real?
I’m not sure what mythical creature I would believe was real. I would like phoenixes to be real because they’re immortal and if you were friends with one, you’d never have to say goodbye to them.
If you could be transformed into one animal, which one would you choose?
I wouldn’t want to be at the bottom of the food chain, but I wouldn’t want to be at the top. I think I would choose an otter because they live in groups, they’re curious, playful and swim fast!
