Ingrid Folland is the CEO of Japeto, where she is dedicated to improving digital tools for organisations of all sizes and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. She holds a BSc in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University and an MSc in Medical Microbiology from Queen Mary University of London. A PRINCE2-certified project manager, Ingrid is also an experienced product owner and designer, with a strong track record of working closely with local partners to deliver impactful digital products.
She began her career in biomedical sciences before transitioning into technology, moving from R&D into fast-paced roles across product design, development, and project management. Over the years, Ingrid has supported charities both large and small in advancing their tech stacks, with a particular focus on accessibility, usability, and long-term sustainability.
As a committed advocate for tech for good, Ingrid now leads Japeto in building safe, ethical AI solutions for sectors including healthcare, education, government, and the charity sector. She is passionate about helping organisations use technology confidently and creatively to better serve their communities.
