Overview

We were contracted to design and develop a landing page for an unreleased football scouting mobile application. The app connects scouts and coaches with players, acting as a digital bridge to streamline talent discovery and communication.

The Goal

The landing page had two primary purposes:

  • Capture email sign-ups from early users
  • Introduce the concept to potential seed investors

With no live product or visual assets available, our challenge was to convey the value of the app clearly and compellingly using minimal content.

Our Approach

We kicked off the project with a design workshop to define the app’s value proposition, understand the intended user base, and gather initial requirements. With input and early copy provided by the team at Scout’d, we began translating their vision into a landing page tailored for both users and investors.
We drew design inspiration from established sports tech platforms, tailoring layout, messaging, and tone to appeal to coaches, scouts, players, and early-stage investors.

Collaboration & Delivery

Our team worked in close collaboration with Adam from Scout’d throughout the process. Regular feedback loops enabled quick iterations, and we delivered a strong first draft within a short timeframe.
Despite limited visual materials, as the app was still in development, we tackled this by creating custom graphics to communicate key features effectively.

Outcome

The final landing page served as a powerful early-stage marketing asset:

  • Captured sign-ups from interested users
  • Positioned the app clearly for investor conversations
  • Conveyed the brand’s tone and vision despite a lack of live product visuals

We’re proud of how this lean launch asset supported a growing idea and helped Scout’d build early traction and credibility.
We’re continuing to work closely with Scout’d as we build out their mobile application.
